Customer Service Representative (Service Department)

Avensys Solutions, one of the Hoskin Group affiliate companies, is a National supplier of Process and environmental monitoring instruments. Its reputation was built on years of experience assisting and serving customers nationwide in solving monitoring problems using high-end analytical and industrial instrumentation. The Avensys team is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join its Service Team.

Qualifications required

Education / Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a college degree in a Technical discipline would be a definite advantage.
  • Proven experience: a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a technical sales-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with technical products and a demonstrated ability to effectively understand and communicate technical information.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Attention to detail and Time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Written and spoken French language is a definite asset.
  • Organized, disciplined, electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Knowledge of instrumentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Principal Accountabilities

  • Prepare quotations for Sales, Service and Rental.
  • Handle, direct, and action inbound customer communications.
  • Create and distribute return authorizations for customer units in need of repair.
  • Assist in maintaining Avensys Health & Safety record profiles.
  • Create and communicate purchase orders to our vendors.
  • Expedite repairs with our vendors.
  • Pick parts for service work.
  • Assist with the coordination and invoicing of factory and field service.
  • Respect and promote the ISO system in place.
  • Assist the rental department with Avensys equipment.
  • Always provide superior customer experience.
  • Assist all Hoskin Group companies with customer questionnaires.
  • Provide coverage for Inside Sales as needed.
  • Other duties as required by the organization.
