The membrane placement tool enables the user to place a membrane over extremely soft samples without the risk of compromising the integrity and the formation of the sample.

It can be placed and secured onto GDS cells to enable the sample to be created and prepared within the cell, removing the risk of damage and deformation of the sample by transporting it from a preparation station to the testing cell. The entire tool is set up so that everything can be easily attached / detached and moved using guide bars.
