The Standard Vacuum Pump is a compact, high-vacuum mechanical pump for all general laboratory applications.The unit consists of two series-connected eccentric pumps joined into a single unit. It attains an ultimate pressure of 0.3 microns of Hg in a leakproof system and has a free air displacement of 3 gallons (10 liters) a minute at its normal speed of 350 rpm.The improved exhaust dome and baffle prevent oil spray.A 1/3 h.p. motor mounted on a common base with the pump drives it through a V-belt.
