The Dytran model 3293A is a lightweight IEPE triaxial accelerometer with a high sensitivity of 500 mV/g. Design of the model 3293A incorporates miniature ceramic shear mode sensing elements, mounted to a single support and packaged in a light–weight, welded titanium housing, for a total weight of 8.8 grams.
The model 3293A offers a low end frequency response of 0.25 Hz for excellent phase response at low frequencies. Units also have an electrical noise floor of 0.0002 g RMS, which allows for its excellent signal–to–noise ratio.
Units feature an industry standard 4–pin radial connector and 5–40 tapped hole for stud mounting, and are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
