The Dytran series 3343 is a miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer that weighs just 2.4 grams and has a vertical height of 0.29 inches (7.2 millimeters).
The distinguishing characteristic of the series 3343 is its exclusive, Dytran designed 4–pin radial connector. Compared to the industry standard (1/4–28 thread size), the seriesl 3343 incorporates a M4.5 x 0.35 connector that is approximately 20% smaller in size. This substantial size difference allows for a more flexible, lightweight cable, a smaller diameter for the connector, and also contributes to the overall smaller size of the accelerometer.
Available with a sensitivity reange from 2–10 mV/g, the Dytran series 3343 features quartz shear sensing elements packaged in a robust laser welded titanium housing with adhesive mounting capabilities. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
