The Dytran series 3525A is amongst the world's first IEPE quartz accelerometers to operate at +392°F (+200°C) continuously. The accelerometer has a built in impedance converting amplifier (IEPE), eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier. This model utilizes an inverted quartz element to minimize the unwanted effect of base strain on the accelerometer signal.



The series is offered with a 10 mV/g sensitivity and a 10,000 Hz upper–frequency range. The external casing is stainless steel and hermetically sealed. Main applications for series 3525A include: downhole oil industry, environmental test chambers like HALT/HASS chambers for control, automobile applications including engine & exhaust hot zones, and any general purpose high–temperature IEPE application.
