LDS sensors are available in two types, the LDS which has an outer case Ø17.4 and the LD20 with an outer case Ø19.0, displacements range from 5mm through to 100mm. Both ranges of sensors have sprung return stainless steel outer case and are fitted with a 2 metre flying lead.

• ACCURACY

LDS sensors produce proportional voltage output in relation to the captivated guided spindle displacement via the four active arms of a 350 ohm strain gauge bridge arrangement. This fully active bridge provides excellent temperature compensation characteristics coupled with true output linearity.

• COMPATIBILITY

LDS sensors belong to the family of strain gauge sensors and exhibit the same inherent advantages for linearity, resolution and versatility as such they are systems compatible with a wide range of commonly used sensors for load, pressure, acceleration, vibration etc. utilising a millivolt signal for most off the shelf instrumentation.
