Unbonded capping systems are available as an alternative method for use in compression testing of cylindrical concrete specimens.The system is faster, cleaner and odorless as opposed to bonded capping methods.

Specifications

Capping Pads. Tough elastometric material; 60 durometer pads may be used on any strength concrete; however, the longevity is lowered

when used on cylinders in excess of 5,500 psi. 70 durometer

pads should be used only on cylinders where concrete is 4,500

psi or higher.
