ASTM D-2937

Designed to determine in-place density of soil, the Density Drive Sampler and Tubes are used to obtain a relatively undisturbed soil sample. Made of plated steel, the sampler consists of a rod, handle and anvil hammer with a shock spring to drive the thin-walled tube into the soil.The sharp edges of the tubes are designed for clean and easy cutting into the soil.
