The redesigned Test-Master® analytical screen now features an easy-to-control integrated hopper for easy sample introduction and vertically hinged front doors for improved access and clearance.
The 45.3 liter (1.6 ft³) hopper is hinged at the rear and allows for gradual sample introduction while the machine is running.
When the hopper is closed, a panel prevents dust from escaping through the opening.
The narrower panel doors require less space to open and fold flat against the front of the unit.
The doors also feature a safety interlock switch that disables the Test-Master® when opened.

The TM-5 units with a capacity of six screen trays and the TM-6 units with seven screen trays feature the same reliable counterbalanced drive assembly, fully enclosed operation and electronic digital controller as our previous models.
Sample vibration characteristics are identical to our TS-1 and TS-2 models and the screen trays are interchangeable.
The internal rotating counterweights of the Test-Master® drive system equalize the vertical sieving action to ensure smooth, quiet operation and prevent the transfer of vibration to other laboratory instruments.

The Test-Master® can be placed anywhere in the lab and does not require permanent installation.
An integrated, UL-listed electronic controller provides an LED display of remaining time and an audible signal at the end of the test cycle.
Test cycles up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds can be programmed and cycles can be interrupted without loss of time.
An ergonomic foot pedal provides easy operation of the hydraulic pressure clamping and release system for screen plates.

Screen trays and dust containers for Test-Master units must be ordered separately.
The dust container can optionally be placed on the bottom shelf of the unit, freeing up space for an additional sieve tray.
Independently removable sieve trays are common to both Testing Screen and Test-Master® models and are available in a wide range of opening sizes with ASTM E 11 fabric, ISO 565 specification or perforated steel plate.
The screen fabric is replaceable, ensuring long life and low-cost maintenance of the trays.
Each tray has a generous sieving area of ​​375 x 578 mm (14.75 x 22.75 in), or 0.22 ^m2 (2.33 ^ft2 ).

For samples containing larger particles, the TM-5’s wider pan spacing provides more efficient agitation.

Test-Master® accessories and options provide greater versatility for processing a wider range of materials.
Standard vibratory characteristics are designed for coarse, medium-density materials such as limestone or gravel.
Separation of fine, sensitive or low-density materials such as wood chips, coal or coke can be improved by adding the TSA-153 Speed ​​Variation accessory and/or the factory-installed TSA-201 Low Amplitude Drive Shaft.
These options reduce material breakdown during screening and allow the user to tailor screening characteristics to the specific material.
