The Dytran series 3166 is a low noise IEPE piezoelectric accelerometer, featuring a 1/4–28 thru hole mount and radial 2–pin MIL–C–5015 connector. This configuration allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of sensor installation.

Available with sensitivities ranging from 10–500 mV/g, design of the series 3166 incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a highly rugged stainless steel housing. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments and are internally case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.

The series 3166 is directly compatible with the Dytran series 6194 Immersion Proof sealing boot (sold separately). When used together, the sensor remains fully functional in an IP65 environment.

Features:

  • Stainless steel, Hermetic, Case isolated
  • 360° cable orientation
