The GDS transducer access ring is supplied with blanking plugs and fixing bolts. The access ring is available with up to 12 ports and comes in size ranges from 76mm to 300mm.

This access ring allows easy access for Local Strain Measurement, mid plane pore pressure transducers, additional hydraulic or electrical connections using “feedthroughs”. The access ring will also give additional height for the use of internal load cells and extension testing devices without the need to modify the triaxial cell. If you are ordering a cell that is of non-standard size a specific access ring will be made for the system if it requires one. This will be discussed when placing an order.
