Geotech Air Sparge Systems

Geotech Air Sparge Systems are designed to provide positive air pressure into the subsurface thus aiding the volatilization and biodegradation process associated with soil vapor extraction technology.

By injecting air directly into the groundwater, Geotech Air Sparge Systems remediates groundwater by volatilizing contaminants and enhancing biodegradation. Contaminants are removed from groundwater by physical contact with air and are carried up into the unsaturated zone (i.e., soil). As the contaminants move into the soil, a Geotech provided soil vapor extraction system can be used to remove vapors from the subsurface.

Geotech rotary claw compressor systems are custom designed to meet your air flow and air pressure requirements where rotary lobe and rotary vane systems can not economically meet the discharge flow/pressure requirements, for example over 30 cfm (.85cmm) and pressure ranges of 15-30 psig (1-2 bar).

Geotech offers Ingersoll Rand oil lubricated, rotary screw air compressors to provide positive air pressure for powering pneumatic equipment as well as for continuous use applications such as air sparging.

Ingersoll Rand UP Series rotary screw compressors provide “best in class” performance in rotary screw technology.

Each compressor package comes standard with:
