The Dytran series 3326 is a low noise accelerometer, ideally suited for use in flight testing applications, and is compatible with standard on–board power supplies (+20 to +32 VDC). Sensors are part of Dytran's line of VDC powered instrumentation, and as such, may be compatible with existing installations of other manufacturer's which use similar principles.
Available with a sensitivities ranging from 10–100 mV/g, the Dytran series 3326 features a ceramic sensing element operating in shear mode, packaged in a rugged titanium housing. The design of series 3326 incorporates a 1/4–28 4–pin radial connector and miniature thru hole mounting, which allows for the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing, aiding the user during sensor installation. The Dytran series 3326 weighs 10 grams, is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments, and case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
