The wax-like solidification of fuel when exposed to low temperatures determines its temperature usability boundary. The relevant indicator for that is the CFPP (Cold Filter Plugging Point).

To prevent that the fuel blocks filters due to insufficient cold resistance it is important to know the CFPP. CMT's test kit allows quick and easy determination of the temperature boundary above which it is safe to use the fuel. In addition, it allows to measure the pour point.
