The Dytran model 1061C is a piezoelectric charge mode force sensor, designed to measure both compressive and tensile forces from 10 to 25,000 Lb F over a wide frequency range. Offered with a sensitivity of–9 pC/Lb F, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode, with reliable high–temperature operation to +500°F (+260°C).
Design of the model 1061C features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing, for an overall weight of 420 grams. Units incorporate a 10–32 radial connector and a series of 3/8–16 tapped holes, located at the top and bottom of the sensor housing, for ease of mounting.
