The Dytran series 1050 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces up to 5,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered in multiple sensitivities, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 500 lbs full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the series 1050 features built–in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
Design of the series 1050 features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 32 grams. Units utilize a 10–32 axial connector and a 1/4–28 tapped hole located at the top of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.
