The Dytran series 1060 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces up to 50,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with a sensitivity range from 0.1– 10 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 1,000 lbf full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the series 1060V features built–in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.

Design of the series 1060V features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 460 grams. Units utilize a 10–32 axial connector and 3/8–16 tapped hole at the top of the sensor housing.

Features:

  • Stainless steel
  • Wide frequency range
  • IEPE

Applications:

  • Modal and structural analysis
  • Press monitoring
  • Process control
  • General purpose dynamic force measurement
