The Dytran series 1061 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces from 500–50,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with sensitivities ranging from 0.1 to 10 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 1,000 lbs full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the series 1061V features built–in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.
Design of the series 1061V features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 452 grams. Units utilize a 10–32 radial connector and 3/8–16 tapped holes at both the top and bottom of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.
