Design of the model 3148E incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a stainless steel housing, incorporating a radial BNC connector and 10–32 mounting hole. The model 3148E is also hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments and base isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
