IRV Pro – Accuracy that Adapts

The Grabner IRV Pro is a compact, high-speed FTIR fuel analyzer for automated analysis of gasoline, jet, and diesel fuels. It measures over 100 preconfigured parameters for fuel blending, quality control, and specification compliance directly at the point of sale.

Compound analysis follows international standards including ASTM D5845 (oxygenates), ASTM D6277 and EN 238 (benzene), and EN 14078 (biodiesel blends). Fuel properties such as octane and cetane number, distillation, vapor pressure, and density are determined from the full IR spectrum using PLS regression and advanced chemometric models in accordance with ASTM E1655, utilizing thousands of spectral data points for high prediction accuracy. Calibration models are based on reference samples collected and analyzed by SGS®.

Designed for laboratory, field, and mobile use, the IRV Pro features a robust, bubble-free metal filling system, shock- and vibration-tested housing, and a self-aligning double interferometer to maintain measurement stability after mechanical stress. A 10-inch industrial touchscreen supports reliable operation in demanding environments, with optional 12 V power for in-vehicle use.
