Phase equilibrium measurements under different pressures

The FISCHER® LABODEST® VLE 602 is a high-quality apparatus for determining phase equilibria in two- and multi-component mixtures. These measurements are essential for determining the required number of separation stages and other distillation conditions for efficient separation.

The system is designed for working under atmospheric conditions as well as under vacuum or overpressure in the range of 0…4,000 mbar abs (additional equipment required). The fittings, sensors and safety devices are integrated into the housed base frame, which ensures a safe working environment. The microprocessor-controlled regulator ensures precise and reliable work.

The system works at temperatures up to approx. 180°C, with additional equipment up to approx. 250°C, and an operating volume of 80 to 100 ml. 40 to 50 ml are used for one measurement. The system is operated with 230 V mains voltage (others optional) and measures a compact 0.95 x 0.60 x 0.95 m.

The VLE 602 is ideal for laboratories that want to perform accurate phase equilibrium measurements under different pressures to ensure optimal distillation processes.
