The Tamson high temperature foaming bath can be used to test the foaming characteristics of lubrication oils conform ASTM D6082 and IP 453. The apparatus comes with a bath that can be operated at 150°C as required by the test method. A rack with two flowmeters is standard supplied. The bath has four openings for foaming cylinders. The rack can be used to hold up to four foaming cylinders. Also, the stoppers and optional dryer can be mounted on this rack. The foaming bath has a cylindrical glass jar with a drain and is equipped with a metal case with removable windows to guarantee safe operation. Furthermore, the bath offers an excellent temperature stability and has a drain for easy draining of the bath fluid. Tamson can supply all accessories needed for foaming tests according to ASTM D6082 and IP 453. Custom-made configurations are available on request, for example when a combined setup for both ASTM D892 and ASTM D6082 is needed.
