The Toxic Interface Unit provides a separation chamber with a free flowing bellofram rolling diaphragm, to prevent toxic/contaminated fluids and vapors from entering the aluminum base of the cell or pressure/volume controller, removing the risk of any damage to the equipment from the potentially corrosive fluids.

The Toxic Interface Unit is paired with an access ring, specialist pedestals and valve setup to provide the most suitable solution when using contaminated materials during testing. The Toxic Interface Unit is suitable for specimens that have a high salinity content, or from potentially contaminated sites. Construction of the chamber is stainless steel for complete corrosion resistance.
