We offer three TTree product variants, which differ in the measurement technology and in the presentation of the measurement results. The Talking Tree is thus suitable for different target groups with different focus.

Presentation: according to scientific requirements, tabular measurement data, advanced statistics

Measurement technology:

• 1 x sap flow and wood moisture sensor (xylem flow sensor UGT SFM-5 or SFM-5 L for radial profiles) – to detect water transport in xylem tissue via the propagation of short heat pulses
• 1 x stem circumference sensor (band dendrometer DRS26) – for continuous and high-resolution recording of the tree diameter
• 1 x soil tensiometer (Full Range Tensiometer UGT FRT 15D) – for measuring the tension with which water is retained in the soil (up to pF4.2 permanent wilting point)
• 1 x soil temperature and soil moisture sensor (UGT SMT-100) – for measuring volumetric soil water content and soil temperature
• 1 x UGT data logger or NBIoT-Box with tree attachment – for storage and further processing of dendrometer, xylem flow, soil tension and soil moisture data
• 1 x database system and data visualization (SVADSS)
• 1 x solar panel or mains power supply
