The Dytran series 7506A is a high precision single axis variable capacitance (VC) accelerometer available with measurement ranges of 400g and 50g. This high precision accelerometer combines an integrated VC accelerometer chip with high drive, low impedance buffer for low level acceleration measurements.
Tailored for zero–to–medium frequency applications, the series 7506A features a low end frequency response of 0 Hz (DC) and an upper frequency range of 300 Hz. This module contains a MEMS capacitive sensing element, a custom integrated circuit amplifier, low noise electronics and current output, housed in a rugged stainless steel housing, with a 3–pin radial connector and easy thru hole mounting. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
