The sensor can be connected to a refinery or pipeline DCS (Data Control System)/SCADA to provide an automatic and continuos record of product conductivity levels, eliminating the requirement for manual sampling and record keeping. When installed with an automatic dosing system the in-line sensor allows for automated additive dosing to maintain the conductivity within specified limits.

The sensing technology was developed around two stainless steel coaxial electrodes and is suitable for long-term immersion in fuels.

This sensor is modelled specifically on the customer’s installation requirements; the flange adaptor is an integral part of the assembly and it needs to be specified in advance. High pressure conductivity sensors are fixed mounted and ‘not retractable’ at process pressure.
