An inline senosr that provides real time measurement of conductivity in piplines using high accuracy AC measurement technology.

IECEx marking: EX db ia IIC T4 Gb

The sensor can be connected to a refinery or pipeline DCS (Data Control System)/SCADA to provide an automatic and continuous record of product conductivity levels, eliminating the requirement for maunal sampling and record keeping. When installed with an automatic dosing system the in-line sensor allows automated additive dosing to maintain the conductivity within specified limits.

The sensing technology was developed around two stainless steel coaxial electrodes and is suitable for long-term immersion in fuels.

This sensor is modelled specifically on the customer’s installation requirements and can be supplied with a variety of flange adaptors. Low pressure (up to 16 bar) conductivity sensors have an adjustable depth and if coupled to an isolation ball valve can be retracted without de-pressurisation of the pipeline.
