GDS’ Sig 3 (Dynamic Pressure Controller) is a dynamic pump for the precise & rapid regulation and measurement of fluid pressure and volume change. The Sig3 takes its name from its typical application in controlling radial stress. It is most commonly used in the following systems but can be adapted for other uses as well:

• Hollow Cylinder Apparatus to give independent dynamic control of the inner and outer cell pressures.
• Cyclic triaxial systems for dynamic control of cell pressure.
• Dynamic systems without a balanced ram to maintain constant cell pressure.
