Description

Delivering the highest accuracy in a rugged design, the wireless MX20 data logger provides research-grade measurements for professional water level monitoring applications in both freshwater and saltwater environments, and features convenient Bluetooth for seamless set-up, configuration, and data offloading.

An integrated absolute pressure sensor eliminates the need for cumbersome vent tubes or desiccants to maintain, and its rugged housing makes it this ideal for long-term deployments, recording water level and temperature up to 250-foot depths. The stainless steel model is ideal for shallow wells, streams, lakes, freshwater wetlands, while the corrosion-resistant Titanium model is well-suited to tidal areas, brackish wetlands, and other seawater environments. This logger’s slim, compact design allows it to fit where larger instruments cannot—suiting it well to the small casing diameters groundwater wells often used in environmental remediation and regulatory monitoring applications.

A scalable solution that simplifies workflows and data collection from large numbers of wells for hydrologists, field technicians, mitigation specialists, and others, MX20 loggers can offload data to LI-COR Cloud® software with an accompanying MX Data Plan, which gives users access to a range of time-saving tools.

NOTES

* Water Level Accuracy: With accurate reference water level measurement, known water density, accurate barometric compensation data, and a stable temperature environment.

** Raw Pressure Accuracy: Absolute pressure sensor accuracy includes all sensor drift, temperature, and hysteresis-induced errors.

*** Changes in Temperature: Allow 10 minutes in water to achieve full temperature compensation of the pressure sensor. Maximum error due to rapid thermal changes is approximately 0.5%.
